At this point in time, we have already lived so many lives. We may not remember our past lives, but they are a part of our souls forever. We have the ability to feel and empathize with anyone if we choose to. We have been the victim, the victor, the abuser, and the abused. We have the capacity to understand their journey. Sometimes it’s just too much to feel what they feel. We want to close it off and turn away, but regardless it’s still part of who we are. We can walk in their shoes because, at some point, perhaps unknowing to us, we were once where they were. We can connect their experience to ours, and as we do, we realize that there is something beyond our criticism that connects us. We can suspend judgment and simply witness. We can witness our own thinking. Is this thinking mine? Is this really me? We can see thoughts as things that float through our mind on an automatic trajectory moving us through the same patterned experiences. Is this kind of thinking bringing us more of the same kinds of things? We can choose new thoughts and new ways to see things. We decide how we feel and what we think. When the opinions of others influence us, it’s because we choose to allow this. We have the power to decide who we are in the world. If we don’t like our lives, we can choose to see the situation differently, and in the process, we can choose to BE different than who we are right now. We can narrow it all down to two things: love and fear. We understand that creation is supportive, unconditional love that fully supports our dreams, while fear is restrictive and mind-made stories that we have allowed ourselves to believe. Fear wants to keep us trapped and afraid. We can consciously choose love over fear. We realize that we are here to create a life for ourselves. A life of our choosing. Free of the opinions of others. If their opinions bother us, it’s because we let them. If we transcend them, we finally find freedom. We are empowered more now than ever. We’re waking up from a long sleep that all of humankind has participated in. We know that we came into this life and time with a purpose. We can be brave because we know this is never the end. We are living my PAST LIVES in the PRESENT. We can call on those experiences, piercing through the veil of time, to access the wisdom needed to transcend to our higher selves. A Warrior of Light. A Generator of Love. We are here for a reason.
